Eclipse

Away the day slips
as light is obscured;
the dark is endured
when there’s an eclipse.
And while the moon hides
luminosity,
nebulosity,
for a moment, presides.

As shadows prevail,
your worries amass,
but you can surpass
the fear that you’ll fail.

For out of what’s been,
possibility
lends facility
to what’s entering in.

With every new start,
more hope climbs aboard
and helps you move toward
the call of your heart.

And though while it’s dim,
thoughts that dominate
serve to obfuscate
rays of hope ’round the rim,
if you can let go,
illumination
will bring salvation
so Spirit can flow!
