House vs. Home

Today I have sold what I used to own.
Made of wood and stone,
“home” was how it was known.

But home is not made of walls and a floor
and a big front door.
It consists of far more!

Possessions and air in a certain space
may be called “home base,”
but it’s only a place.

Your true home is not a house on a lot;
despite what you’re taught,
it can’t be where you’re not.

Inside your being, your true home resides.
It’s where fear subsides
and divine love abides.

So, whether you live in Butte or Stockholm,
wherever you roam,
know your heart is your home.
