I feel you drawing nearer and nearer,
and once again, you have entered my dreams.
A different face looks back from my mirror
and tells me not all appears as it seems.

Though probabilities always abound,
agreements we made still beckon us in.
And sometimes a whim (or maybe a sound)
reminds us of all that we’ve ever been.

So now with a faith that I used to lack,
I steadily walk toward where I am led.
And when desires entice me off track,
I calmly return to pick up the thread.
