On the edge of tomorrow,
between joy and sorrow,
is life in the land of the present.
If you dwell on past actions
or coming attractions,
you miss out on all that is pleasant.
When you worry and ponder,
God’s great gift, you squander.
So, why not just stay in the moment?
Since the Source of our being
wants life to be freeing,
give in and accept Her bestowment.
As a human, He gifts you
with free choice to go do
whatever you choose as you travel.
And your judgement of what’s right
will lead you to YOUR Light.
Be awed as life’s mazes unravel!
But the judgement of others
(your sisters and brothers)
is not what the Maker intended….
To pay heed to your own road
while easing a friend’s load
is that which is most recommended.
For your purpose to come clear,
just focus on what’s here;
give thanks for Divinity’s presents.
So, forget your past sorrow;
let go of tomorrow:
The joy that you seek lies in presence.
