We are like two magnets
unable to stay apart.
Whether we’re in love or not,
(which isn’t crucial to the plot),
it’s clear our current story
is definitely one of heart.
Drawn to one another
by irresistible force,
karma is the tractor beam
(and part of a much grander scheme)
of earth life’s convoluted
and often-mysterious course.
I’m comfortable with mystery,
secrets, riddles, and signs.
I understand our history
consists of many life lines.
If not for my belief in Soul’s
wiser and eagle-eyed view,
I’d struggle with our present roles;
instead, I’m grateful for you.
Though it’s getting clearer,
the picture’s still taking form.
What is most apparent here’s
not knowing why Soul engineers
the details and the actions
that we are destined to perform.
I learned a long, long time ago
that there are things we’ll never know.
Our paths were charted for our souls to grow.
So, just let go and let life flow….
Trust that love is all we ever truly need to know!
At those times when ego
and worries are magnified,
though I’m still unsure why we
have come to pass, I let it be.
