Wondering earlier what I might write,
my Spirit responded that I should shed light
by crafting a poem for those that inquire,
“How can I get what it is I desire?”
Pondering questions unanswered as yet,
because you are human, you’re apt to forget
a law of this world that is at your command,
giving you power to choose where you land.
To get what you want, you have only one task:
All you need do is ask!
Starting somewhere in our history’s past,
from ignorant people, distortions were cast.
They didn’t believe there was plenty for all,
wanting the others to always stay small.
Taught to be humble and ask for much less,
our deepest desires, we have learned to suppress.
We often play safe by not aiming too high,
wanting to pass through that biblical eye.
As Spirit, your vessel’s a bottomless cask.
All you need do is ask!
Sometimes, you hinder the new coming in,
believing that you are unworthy to “win.”
And other times, doubting that dreams can come true,
quickly you settle for less than you’re due.
As you let go of whatever’s outworn
in order for something brand new to be born,
allow Higher Self to choose wrapping and speed.
Spirit will manifest just what you need!
She’ll answer you once you accomplish your task….
All you need do is ask!
Longings arise from the moment of birth,
essential to plotting a course here on earth —
an element of creativity’s math,
guidance directing you onto your path.
Why do you doubt what you want will bear fruit
and opt to discount a more favorable route?
Emotions will validate when you’re off course.
Never ignore this great gift from our Source!
Remember, your body is simply a mask.
Within, there is Light; in its warmth, you should bask.
And all you need do is ask!
