Buzzzz

The buzzing in my ears won’t stop!

Like conversations all around,
but none within my reach,
I’m well aware of every sound,
each high-pitched whir,
the occasional purr,
and even a random pop.

I muse that it’s angelic speech,
for they have much to tell
we humans, to whom they attend.
And I admit
that the sounds they emit
have certainly cast a spell….

But it still drives me ’round the bend!
