How does it all connect?
Where do disparate parts intersect?
When will past and present combine
so that skills and future paths align
to form the life that I chose?
It ultimately arose
from my Soul’s understanding
of what Spirit was commanding
in terms of my evolution.
This life is the solution
to the dharma and the gifts,
the karma and the rifts
that were in place before my birth
as a being here on Earth.
Interests formed when I was young
connected to the song unsung
within my boundless Soul.
What I set to be a goal
required my ego to desire
the skills I needed to acquire
to facilitate my work.
All along, I knew I couldn’t shirk
the duties of my course.
This path divined by Source
includes unique interpretation
(simultaneous translation)
of Universal Truth.
I’m asked to be an amateur sleuth
and decipher cryptic clues.
In order to pay the dues
that are collected while in form,
at times, I’ve had to conform
much more than ego could accept.
More recently, I’ve stepped
on group beliefs and mass conventions.
When exploring outer dimensions
in search of higher vibrations,
I’ve encountered blissful sensations
sent by Spirit to remind me
that the Universe designed me!
