Inspired by the Whistling Winds

What is it that I’m meant to write today?

Which ideas inside me should I convey?
Is there an emotion that needs release,
or am I to bring others a message of peace?

The winds that are whistling compose a tune
that affects me by giving my mind a boon:
To counter the rancor and fear these days,
with the words that I choose, I’ll propose other ways…

…to look at our lives, to be in this world,
to know in our hearts that energy is swirled
by the hand of Creator to form something grand,
though at times, it’s perceived as stormy and unplanned.

We judge from a limited point of view,
then believe our assessment of lack is true.
Each vortex of matter, both thought and place,
from a higher perspective, holds meaning and grace.

It’s through human frailty we are misled,
interpreting earthly circumstance with dread.
By aligning with Spirit, we do what we must
with acceptance and joy, with gratitude and trust.
