Where Love Abides

It is said that home
is where the heart resides.
Of one thing, I am sure: 
The Universe provides
all that is required,
uniting what divides
our Higher Self and knowing
from ego and its lies.

When confronting doubt,
the space behind our eyes
gives respite from the world
where ego seeks its prize.
Focused on without,
then artifice denies
our inner Light from reaching
the nooks where darkness hides.

Quieting our thoughts,
we hear our spirit guides
assuring us, where’er we roam,
WE ARE where love abides!
