Pain draws our attention to where we need to focus and learn. No matter the degree of challenge, there truly is a silver lining in every cloud; there is a gift awaiting us even in those life situations that we perceive to be negative. Oftentimes, the greatest gifts come in unattractive packaging.
Staying in the flow of life allows us to more readily accept whatever occurs. The feeling of being stuck or stagnation on any level signal that we have yet to completely accept where/how we are in the NOW. Once we are in a state of acceptance, change happens. Forward movement is then possible; we open to recognizing alternative paths that, before, were not in our realm of consciousness.
Trusting in the wisdom of Soul removes the shackles and barriers that are put in place by our limiting beliefs and fear. The many routes that lead us to our destiny and fulfillment of our life’s mission are all paved with trust, acceptance, and love. Any resistance to what is perpetuates pain and clouds the clarity available to us as we walk our paths here on planet Earth. A perception of fog is simply a sign from Soul that not knowing is currently beneficial; trust is the key that opens the door to the next leg of our journey.
Human reasoning and thought interfere at times with the Soul’s progress and evolution, needing to be set aside in order for stability and peace to be present. The way in which Spirit directs us on our individual journey can be perceived by the human reasoning mind as illogical, frightening, and unsafe. There is often paradox present at a crossroads. Refusal to expand beyond the limitations of the intellect can not only stall us in our tracks, but it can also lead us down a path that is far more treacherous than others. What appears to be safe can be laden with minefields; what we perceive as dangerous or foolish can take us on a journey so rich that what then occurs would have been unimaginable to the prior version of self. Miraculous and magical occurrences become the norm; boundaries that had been firmly in place evaporate. Evolution occurs.
As humans, we often judge the world around us to be limiting and even cruel. We find it all too easy to accept everything at face value, closing our eyes to the more subtle textures and beauty that are woven throughout the tapestry of our lives. We must awaken to the marvels of the mortal world through trust in Spirit by accepting what is, allowing the flow of love to gently guide us on our way and, at times, to seemingly shove us onto a path that was unknown until the moment of its appearance. What we perceive as mystery morphs into a magic carpet ride….
Embrace destiny when it calls! Transmute the pain of resistance and fear into ease and love through trust and acceptance. Spirit’s way is one of wisdom; serenity and joy are gifts unseen by doubting eyes. Let us all awaken!!
