Light dispels darkness by its mere presence. Though only a pinpoint of Light is needed to penetrate the darkness, that bit of Light when enkindled by the breath of Spirit then reaches into every corner of obscurity. The openness to Spirit that is brought about via compassion, love, and a willingness to serve is what paves the way for beaming one’s individual Light into the world of form.
Humans assign a title to each period in Earth’s history, i.e., the Stone Age, the Dark Ages, the Golden Age of Renaissance. There is wisdom in the words chosen to describe the gradation of darkness and Light present during different human eras. Which will be the chosen language to describe present-day Earth? We must recognize that each human being extant on this planet has the power to affect the NOW by their choices, thoughts, actions, and state of presence. Humans most greatly influence both the quality of their daily existence and the course of history primarily through themselves. Focusing on your personal expansion of Light via connection with Source (in whatever way is most appropriate for you) is the greatest gift you offer to humanity as a whole. Uplifting your vibration uplifts the vibration of Mother Earth. Peering into the dark corners of self and radiating your Light into the often overlooked crevices (that ego is constantly striving to deepen) is the highest form of service to all. In doing so, you widen the field into which your personal Light shines.
Many individuals take for granted the power of self-improvement via the willingness and courage to deeply explore every aspect of self. Through the manipulation of thought-forms, ego convinces us that constant motion is a higher degree of service (benefiting all) and that the stillness and silence necessary to fully know oneself is selfish and less than the seemingly generous actions extended to others. Without tending to the needs of self on every level—especially the more challenging work of self-knowledge and inner growth—one cannot fully be present, nor can one assist another with his/her journey to wholeness. Especially in times of great unrest, the care of self and one’s Soul is of the upmost importance. Tending the flame of Soul that lights the way chosen during this current Earth era is the first and most vital step in fulfilling one’s unique spiritual mission in service of the Whole.
As we march forward on our life paths during this time of transition, let us attend first to our own inner Light so that the darkness of fear and discord is dispelled by the combined Light of earthly peoplehood. Change that is welcomed with an open heart and includes the needs of others for the betterment of all blows through one’s life to fan the SoulFlame of self, just as the breath of Spirit expands the Flame of LoveLight shining forth into the darkness of form. BE the Light in your own life! In doing so, you illuminate the way for your fellow humans on the tribal march into Wholeness. United in Light, we are at one with the Divine.
