Looking outside of oneself to initiate change is an act of one who is not in touch with where true power resides. Change occurs from the inside out, not the other way around! Look first at your thoughts: What are the thoughts that repeat from moment to moment, from day to day? What are the emotions experienced that accompany a thought? When a thought brings about a positive, uplifting emotion, make note of that; when feelings of hopelessness, sadness, or anger accompany a thought, there is information there, as well.
We have all that we need to know within us if we only observe our own thoughts and emotions. The way the physical body reacts is also a tool for gauging what best supports us at any given moment in time. Being the observer of your ego-mind and emotional body allows for change to be initiated from within—where you true power resides. As your inner world is reconfigured, the realm of the physical world reflects those alterations; the physical body vibrates differently to accommodate the altered vibration of who you are. Your newly-tuned vibration emanates into the physical world of form, and the changes manifest there.
As human beings living in a world of matter, we have falsely come to the conclusion that our environment effects change in us. WE are the change agent. WE are aspects of the Divine—the Source of this earthly plane. When we quiet the mind and the body, allowing ourselves to connect with the spiritual being who is our higher, more expansive vibration of self, we access the powerful I Am presence that creates worlds, and we feel the power of who we truly are. As that power is mindfully channeled into positive, expansive, and inclusive thought-forms, the physical world responds.
Change happens from the inside out; thought precedes form; the power of Divine Love is the common thread that bridges thought with form, spirit with matter, and worlds already imagined with those still forming in the mind of God.
